জাতীয় প্রাথমিক শিক্ষা একাডেমী ন্যাপ থেকে প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে অধ্যয়রন শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য অন্তবর্তীকালীন পাঠ পরিকল্পনা ও পরীক্ষা মূলক বাড়ির কাজ প্রকাশ করেছে। কোভিড-১৯  এর কারণে শিক্ষার্থীদের পড়াশুনার ক্ষতি কাটিয়ে উঠার লক্ষে অন্তর্বর্তীকালীন পাঠ পরিকল্পনা ২০২১ প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। পঞ্চম  শ্রেণির ২ মে ২০২১ থেকে ০৬ মে ২০২১ (প্রথম সপ্তাহের) ইংরেজি এর পাঠ ও বাড়ির কাজে কি কি থাকছে এবং নমুনা উত্তর নিয়ে পাঠদান করব।

Jessica: Hi! I’m Jessica. (জেসিকা: ওহে আমি জেসিকা)

Sima: Where are you going, Jessica? (সীমা: তুমি কোথায় যাচ্ছ জেসিকা)

Jessica: I’m going to Chattogram. I’m on holiday with my father. (জেসিকা: আমি চট্টগ্রাম যাচ্ছি। আমি আমার বাবার সাথে ছুটি কাটাতে যাচ্ছি।)

Sima: Really? Where are you from? (সীমা: সত্যি তুমি কোথা থেকে এসেছো?)

Jessica: I’m from the United Kingdom. Are you from Dhaka? (জেসিকা: আমি যুক্তরাজ্য থেকে এসেছি। তুমি কি ঢাকা থেকে এসেছো?)

Sima: No, I’m from Sylhet. That’s where we’re going. Our train is leaving in 10 minutes. (সীমা: না আমি সিলেট থেকে এসেছি। আমরা সেখানেই যাচ্ছি।  ১০ মিনিটের মধ্যে আমাদের ট্রেন ছেড়ে যাবে)

Jessica: Have a good journey. (জেসিকা: তোমার ভ্রমণ শুভ হোক)

Sima: Thank you. Nice meeting you, Jessica. Have fun in Chattogram. (সীমা: ধন্যবাদ তোমার সাক্ষাৎ পেয়ে আমার ভালো লাগলো জেসিকা আশাকরি চট্টগ্রামে অনেক মজা করবে)

Jessica: Thanks. Nice meeting you, too, Sima. (জেসিকা: ধন্যবাদ তোমার সাক্ষাৎ পেয়ে অনেক ভালো লাগলো সীমা)

Abid: I see. Welcome to our school.

Raiyan: Thank you. It’s a very big and beautiful school.

Abid: Yes, and our teachers are also very good.

Raiyan: Hope I will enjoy here. Thank you again. It was a nice conversation.

Abid: Welcome. See you again.

E. Read and say.

Sima and Tamal are in the Town Hall Language Club. They come to the club to practice speaking English. They listen to CDs and watch DVDs in English, or speak English with friends. Today there is a new person in the club. He is a young man. He is reading a book about Bangladesh. 

বাংলা ঃ সীমা ও তমাল টাউন হল ল্যাঙ্গুয়েজ ক্লাবে।  তারা ক্লাবে ইংরেজিতে কথা বলা অনুশীলন করতে আসে। তারা মনোযোগ দিয়ে সিডি  শুনে ও ভিডিও দেখে অথবা বন্ধুদের সাথে ইংরেজিতে কথা বলে।  আজ  ক্লাবে একজন নবাগত আছেন। সে একজন তরুণ সে বাংলাদেশ সম্পর্কে বই পড়ছেন

Sima: Look, Tamal Who’s that gentleman? Do you know him? (তমাল দেখো, ওই ভদ্রলোক কে? তুমি কি তাকে চেনো?)  

Tamal: Yes. That’s Andy Smith. He’s working with an NGO here. I met him yesterday at the bookshop. (হ্যাঁ। তিনি এনডি স্মিথ। তিনি এখানে একটি এনজিওতে কাজ করছেন। গতকাল বইয়ের দোকানে তার সাথে আমার সাক্ষাৎ হয়।) 

Sima: Maybe we can practice our English with him. (সম্ভবত আমরা তার সাথে আমাদের ইংরেজি চর্চা করতে পারি)

Tamal: Good idea. I’ll introduce you to him. Come with me. (ভালো চিন্তা।  আমি তোমাকে তার সাথে পরিচয় করিয়ে দেব। আমার সঙ্গে এসো।)
