A prize-giving ceremony is an important part of a school. It is an annual ceremony of an educational institution. On that day students are given prizes for their performance. On the occasion, our school auditorium and its dias were brightly decorated. Prizes were neatly displayed on a separate table on the dias. The whole school was decorated with coloured paper. On the day I went to school earlier. I took part in long jump and race. I got the second prize in the long jump. All students and teachers were present at the function. The guardians and some eminent persons of the locality attended the function. Our MP was the chief guest.
