Advantages and Disadvantages of Internet
The Internet means a global computer network. It consists of interconnected networks using standardized communication protocols. The importance of the internet is huge. It provides us with a variety of information and communication facilities. We can communicate with the people of other parts of the world. Besides, social networking, information collection, job application, reading newspapers or books, online education and so on can be done with the help of the internet. Even we can shop online. However, it has some demerits too. Nowadays, especially teenagers keep chatting and wasting their time with their friends or even unknown people. They are getting introduced to harmful websites that affect their tender mind. Unfortunately, the situation of the students is more serious. They spend a lot of time on Internet and harm their study. So, they cannot do well in the exams. On the contrary, students of my age should use the internet effectively to collect information and gain knowledge about useful things or read books.
