I think natural gas is the most important natural resource of our country. It has played a great role in the economic development of our country. It has made our life easier as we can use gas for cooking. It has lessened our dependence on wood for making fire and cooking. It supplies power in the power stations for generating electricity. Bangladesh is a poor country, We do not have enough foreign currency to buy natural oil from abroad. Thanks to natural gas that we can use it as a substitute to natural oil. It is also a basic raw material for producing urea fertilizer. In this way it has a great contribution to the agricultural development of the country. Even natural gas can be used as fuel in vehicles in its compressed form. I consider it a blessing for this country.
